Level 1 (Cutting Edge Starter & Survival English - Pt 1)

After this course, students will be able to make simple introductions. They will be able to talk about likes and dislikes, common places in town, routines, and jobs. Students will be able to make and respond to requests. In addition, students will be able to use survival English to understand, navigate, and communicate in several common real life situations and contexts such as going to the doctor, getting around, and buying things.

Level 2 (Cutting Edge Starter & Survival English - Pt 2)

After this course, students will be able to speak about the present and the past. They will be able to talk about common life events, and holidays. Students will be able to make social arrangements, ask questions, and apologise. In addition, students will be able to use survival English to understand, navigate, and communicate in several common real life situations and contexts such as buying tickets, in emergencies, at the grocery store, and exchanging greetings and well-wishes.

Level 3 (Cutting Edge Elementary)

After this course, students will be able to talk about people, school, and career. They will be able to ask questions about people, animals, and everyday objects. Students will be able to construct simple narratives, and compare objects and people. They will be able to start giving opinions and reasons.

Level 4 (Cutting Edge Pre-Intermediate)

After this course, students can understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc. They will be able to talk about future arrangements and preferences as well as deal with most situations likely to arise. Students will be able to describe experiences and events, hopes and ambitions, and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.

Level 5 (Cutting Edge Intermediate)

After this course, students can understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in life. They will be able to talk about work and career, leisure activities, city life, ambitions and dreams, and health, as well as express decisions and reasonings behind those decisions. They will have a greater command over tenses and how they are used both in conversation, storytelling, and text.

Level 6 (Cutting Edge Upper-Intermediate)

After this course, students can understand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics. Can interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native
speakers quite possible without strain for either party. Students will be able to explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.

Level 7 (Cutting Edge Advanced)

After this course, students can understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts, and recognise implicit meaning. Students will be able to express him/herself fluently and spontaneously without much obvious searching for expressions. They will be able to use language flexibly and effectively for most social, academic, and professional purposes.

Level 7+ (Ty-Jia materials)

After this course, students understand almost everything they hear or read. They will be able to summarise information from different spoken and written sources and reconstruct arguments and accounts in a coherent presentation. They will be able to express themselves spontaneously, fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in more complex situations.
